It’s officially been two weeks since our move to California! We are more than excited to be back here for the planning of my mom’s wedding, catching up with old friends, and enjoying the warm weather. Sun sun sun!
I have to be honest and admit that I have been overwhelmed. We grew up in California and only lived abroad for a year and half. Still, everything feels different. Our favorite places have been replaced and our hidden-away nooks have been discovered. It doesn’t feel like home.
In the last year, we’ve moved a total of 3 times and I’ve learned that it takes me a good month or two to adapt to my new surroundings. That is why I’ve decided to take a break from blogging. I know, I know, I only just started. I feel (I know I’m not alone) that blogging is supposed to be fun. I’ve always wanted to blog as a way to release some of my creative juices. However, at the moment, I just don’t feel creative. I want to take some time to get to know my new home and to find some inner calmness. I want to be a happy blogger and produce simple, enjoyable, and handy content for you.
For now, I don’t exactly know when I’ll be back BUT I will still be updating you on Instagram. You can follow me there to see what I’m up to and maybe remind me that I still have a blog. Haha. I do promise to be back and to be stronger than ever!
